CLEARY CELTIC ADVANCE TO THE MID ULSTER SHIELD FINAL ON EASTER MONDAY 10 APRIL 2023

Cleary Celtic were defeated 2 - 1 by Warrenpoint Town Res in the Mid Ulster Shield Quarter Final on Saturday 21 January 2023. However, the club subsequently submitted a protest to the Mid Ulster FA on the grounds that Warrenpoint Town Res had breached the competition rules by playing ineligible players.

The Mid Ulster FA considered the matter last Friday 3 February and decided that the protest should be upheld. Consequently Cleary Celtic have been reinstated into the competition and will travel to Woodlands Park, Gilford on Saturday 18 February to play Gilford Crusaders in the semi-final. [b]
